EARLY BETA NOTICE: MeetingBurner is currently in early beta testing. These terms are subject to change. This document provides a framework for our service and will be reviewed by legal counsel before full launch.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MeetingBurner ("Service"), operated by Networks Online, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MeetingBurner provides video conferencing services with AI-powered features including:

  • Real-time video and audio communication
  • Automated transcription of meeting conversations
  • AI-generated meeting summaries and action items
  • Email delivery of meeting recaps
  • Recording capabilities (when enabled)

3. Early Beta Service

The Service is currently in early beta. You acknowledge that:

  • The Service may contain bugs, errors, or interruptions
  • Features may change without notice
  • Service availability is not guaranteed
  • Data loss or corruption may occur

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of unauthorized access

5. Recording and Transcription Consent

IMPORTANT: By joining a meeting on MeetingBurner, you consent to:

  • Transcription: Your voice may be transcribed using AI technology for the purpose of generating meeting summaries and action items
  • Recording: If the host enables recording, your video and audio will be recorded
  • AI Processing: Your conversation may be processed by third-party AI services
  • Storage: Transcripts and recordings may be stored and accessible to meeting participants

If you do not consent to transcription or recording, you should not join the meeting or should exit immediately.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Transmit harmful, threatening, or harassing content
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems

7. Token Usage and Billing

The Service operates on a token-based pricing model:

  • Tokens are consumed based on meeting duration and features used
  • Free tier includes 100 tokens
  • Additional tokens may be purchased
  • Unused tokens may expire or be subject to fair use policies
  • Pricing is subject to change with notice

8. Intellectual Property

Service Content: MeetingBurner and its content (excluding user content) are owned by Networks Online and protected by intellectual property laws.

Your Content: You retain ownership of content you create or upload. By using the Service, you grant us a license to use, store, and process your content solely to provide the Service.

AI-Generated Content: Summaries and transcripts generated by AI are provided "as-is" and may contain errors.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers including:

  • LiveKit (video infrastructure)
  • AssemblyAI (transcription services)
  • OpenAI (AI processing)

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including:

  • Merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Accuracy or reliability of AI-generated content
  • Uninterrupted or error-free service

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Networks Online SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages arising from use or inability to use the Service
  • Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content

In jurisdictions that do not allow limitation of liability, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (or $100 if you paid nothing).

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Networks Online from claims, damages, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of others' rights
  • Content you upload or share

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Non-payment
  • Prolonged inactivity

You may terminate your account at any time. Upon termination, your data may be deleted per our data retention policies.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing Law
