Affiliate Program Terms

Last Updated: January 29, 2026

EARLY BETA NOTICE: The MeetingBurner Affiliate Program will be available once the platform exits early beta testing. These terms are provided for reference and will be finalized before the program launches.

1. Program Overview

The MeetingBurner Affiliate Program ("Program") allows users to earn recurring commissions by referring new customers to MeetingBurner. Participation is open to all MeetingBurner users, regardless of account type (free or paid).

By participating in the Program, you agree to these terms and conditions.

2. Commission Structure

  • Commission Rate: 15% of all payments from referred customers
  • Recurring: Commissions continue for the lifetime of the customer's subscription
  • Attribution Window: 60-day cookie duration from initial referral
  • Attribution Model: First-touch attribution (first referrer receives credit)
  • Payment Timing: Commissions are calculated on actual collected revenue, not billed amounts

3. Payment Terms

Commissions are paid monthly via Rewardful, our affiliate tracking partner. Payment methods include:

  • PayPal
  • Wise (TransferWise)
  • Bank transfer (for eligible regions)

Minimum payout threshold: $25 USD. Commissions below this threshold will roll over to the following month.

4. Eligible Promotional Activities

Affiliates may promote MeetingBurner through:

  • Social media posts and organic content
  • Blog posts and articles
  • Email to your own subscribers (not unsolicited emails)
  • YouTube videos and podcasts
  • Word-of-mouth recommendations
  • Sharing your referral link with colleagues

5. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Self-referrals: Referring yourself or entities you control to earn commissions
  • Fraudulent signups: Creating fake accounts or encouraging others to do so
  • Trademark abuse: Bidding on "MeetingBurner" or related brand terms in paid search
  • Spam: Sending unsolicited emails, messages, or comments
  • Misleading claims: Making false statements about MeetingBurner's features or pricing
  • Cookie stuffing: Artificially placing tracking cookies without genuine interest
  • Brand misrepresentation: Implying official partnership or endorsement without authorization

Violation of these terms will result in immediate termination and forfeiture of all unpaid commissions.

6. Privacy and Tracking

Referral tracking uses first-party cookies and is GDPR compliant. When you share your referral link:

  • A tracking cookie is set on the visitor's browser (60-day duration)
  • If they sign up within 60 days, you receive credit
  • Referred users are never notified about the referral relationship
  • Tracking works across multiple sessions and devices (if same browser)

7. Opt-Out for Professional Contexts

Users hosting meetings with prospects or clients may disable affiliate tracking in their Settings → Affiliate Program. When disabled, no tracking cookies will be set for your meeting participants, and you will not earn commissions from their signups.

8. Termination

MeetingBurner reserves the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate affiliate accounts for violations of these terms
  • Withhold or revoke commissions for fraudulent referrals
  • Modify commission rates with 30 days' advance notice
  • Discontinue the Program with 60 days' advance notice

You may opt out of the Program at any time via your account settings. Earned but unpaid commissions will be paid out according to normal schedule.

9. Limitation of Liability

MeetingBurner is not liable for:

  • Tracking errors or failures beyond our control
  • Commission discrepancies due to customer refunds or chargebacks
  • Delayed payments from our affiliate tracking provider (Rewardful)
  • Lost commissions due to attribution disputes

10. Tax Responsibility

Affiliates are responsible for all taxes on their commission income. For U.S. affiliates earning over $600/year, a W-9 form and 1099 may be required. International affiliates are responsible for their own tax compliance.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email with 30 days' notice. Continued participation in the Program after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
